Swarb's Lazarus is a trio featuring the legendary English fiddler Dave Swarbrick (ex-Fairport Convention, ex-Whippersnapper, and known affectionately as Swarb), ace guitarist Kevin Dempsey (ex-Whippersnapper), and multi-instrumentalist Maartin Allcock (ex-Fairport Convention, ex-Jethro Tull). The trio plays mostly traditional music from the British Isles.
The great man himself, Swarb is on fiddle and mandolin, Kevin on guitar and Maartin on bouzar and guitar. The main vocals on the songs are the responsibility of Kevin, with Maartin adding harmonies, whilst the instrumentals are just brilliant! “The pleasing sound of masters at play" BBC Radio 2.
