This year’s Jazz event features one of the best tenor sax players you are ever likely to hear:

The Scott Hamilton Quartet with Dave Chamberlain (bass), John Pearce (electric piano) and Steve Brown (drums).

Scott is a premier “mainstream” musician, playing from the heart in a relaxed yet perfect style. A brilliant improviser, playing standards and ballads, but always with a fresh approach.

Scott, from Rhode Island, has played with the likes of Benny Goodman, Roy Eldridge, Illinoios Jacquet, and Jo Jones, to name but a few. He has just won a “Ronnie” - the Ronnie Scott International Saxophonist Award 2007.

Certain jazz is timeless, and you will hear Scott visiting standards, playing new melodies and, as always, delivering an evening of absolute perfection. Come along and enjoy an evening guaranteed to be memorable.
