I’m thrilled to be asked to write a short introduction to the Chiddingly Festival 2011.
As a Sussex resident for the past 15 years, I was unaware of Chiddingly until a few years ago when I was asked to sing at the Festival. I since went on to give vocal workshops in the beautiful parish church which we all enjoyed immensely.
I am really impressed with the huge arts diversity within the Festival – there really is something for everyone to enjoy! I’m particularly keen on artists’ Open Houses and I know this is a big part of the festival each year. There is also world class jazz – this of course is dearest to my heart.
There is a real sense of community in Chiddingly and everyone really pulls together to make a Festival that is thoroughly and professionally organised and presented. A Festival to be proud of indeed!
Very best for this 2011 celebration of the arts.
