About The Event
With sold out shows for the past 3 years, the delicious ingredients that make up our CINE-SUPPER are simple: an immersive, lively and appetizing evening, mixing cinema, music, themed trailers, costume and food!
This year might just be the best yet, with our prison-themed evening of dining, dress-up and a cinematic presentation of Frank Darbont’s life-affirming, mystery-thriller The Shawshank Redemption.
Introduced by local film director Corin Hardy, the last event of this year’s Festival will feature live music from composer Simon Woodgate, prison decor, penitentiary cocktails, movie trailers and of course the inimitable Jody’s Kitchen serving up a unique 3-Course Gourmet Prison Menu straight to your tin-trays, all included in the ticket price…
Please come dressed in 1930’s Hollywood glamour or period Prison themed attire; convicts, inmates, guards, cooks and wardens all welcome… (Rock hammers at your discretion) With cinematic prizes kindly donated by our sponsors The Picture House Uckfield, going to the best costumes. (The more inventive the better!)
